Environmental and Human Risk Assessment

Our specialist due diligence portfolio designed to mitigate the risk associated with a contaminated site based on the characterization of the contaminants of concern [e.g. toxicity, source-pathway-receptors pattern]

Environment Risk Assessment examines the ecological risk to flora and fauna as a result of exposure of contaminants through the various media – soil, ground water and air.

Human Risk Assessment considers the impacts to humans for exposure to hazardous substances, thenceforth, the Health Screening Level and Ecological Screening Level are considered in comparison to policy framework e.g. NEPM: Schedule B1 investigation Levels for Soil and Groundwater. In line with environmental policy guidance, the risk are assessed based on land use information and proposed developmental objective
